I've never played games like this one but it is very interesting---a far cry from pac-man or Mario, These video games have come a long way. Its a cool video but I don't like the pointy hat...and I take it you're the guy fighting the guy in the pointy hat? Just checking. Which reminds me check your e-mail I sent you a cool video last night. (NO its not more Templar music, I get it that is not for everyone---in fact I used to post that stuff on the site and only MGTower and I seemed to like it. OH well! we'll just pick up our shields and swords and MOVE ON! )

Cool shit bro! Been a long time since I played Halo. Those be cool to see.

I'll start composing a video compilation soon for Halo soon. I have to start playing the game and record the game play. Each video takes about a week of editing.

It may take a few weeks since I have only started to record and edit. Its something I have always enjoyed doing, but never for YouTube purposes. I'm actually in the process of compiling the next Boss fight on my list. The real fun one to do will be my latest one that took close to six hours before I finally found a way to defeat him.

Also, thanks for Joining the Independent Man. I hope you are enjoying the different forums.

Yeah, I am fighting the guy in the pointy hat. He is the Abyass watcher. If you think he is nasty, wait until you meet my latest challenge in the game. Sorry for not responding to your email until now. I did watch it back at 7:50 this morning. It was actually cool.

And that's all we can do is pick up our weapons and confront the next challenge/boss irl or in games. No pun intended.

I liked the Templar music, T.E.G.! Now, it seems to be a good moment to let you know that. Especially the first blew me away. The following were good.

Whassup with MGTower, Sir? Might be none of my business, but I thought I’d just ask, anyway.

Umbra, I am delighted that you liked the cartoon parody. I laughed my ass off, watching these!

Here is a video I made. I recorded Every attempt at defeating the boss and then compiled the best parts, defeats and victory into a short compilation. If anyone wants, I can create and add more if it is enjoyed. Feedback is appreciated. I do know some parts are messed up due to lag from how I recorded it, and some from video editing due to learning a new program.

Thanks for doing this Umbra, this looked like one heck of a fight.  I remember past Doom sessions where it took FOREVER to finally win, but the satisfaction was immense and very satisfying.  Going your own way and having fun while doing so.

MGTOWR posted in early March that he was taking a break to care for his ill father. I have not seen a posting regarding his fathers status since, but I do not read every thread and may have missed this one.

Spoiler warning. 😀

Great video Matcha, The name for the game can be made generic, yet the loss of  real time vs subjective time remains the same.  Only the amount of beverages and pizza consumed is the constant for each session.

Gregbo, it defenitely was one heck of a fight. Sadly, there are fights that are even worse than he was. From Saturday to Sunday I fought a boss who is worse than the Abyss Watcher.

It looked like after you defeated the Abyss Watcher the first time that it was able re resurrect itself by pulling power from corpses, it this correct?  If so, what a cool plot line element!  Good luck on hoop jumping future level ending encounters.

Thank you, GregBo, I was absent, myself, at the time and didn’t get the memo.

The pizza and beverages constant is a handy instrument to navigate a timetable.

Yeah, the thing resurrected itself, it seems. I learned to take this as a typical Dark Souls manner to mess with the last shreds of hope of its players, am I right?

In a way it resurrected itself. Every boss in Dark Souls has a stage one and a stage two. Some bosses are like the Abyss watchers and some change into stage two when their health hits the half way mark. Yes, Dark Souls does mess with your last shreds of hope. More often than not, you want to rage quit at times.
