WHEN HACKERS BREACHED companies like Dropbox and LinkedIn in recent years—stealing 71 and 117 million passwords, respectively—they at least had the decency to exploit those stolen credentials in secret, or sell them for thousands of dollars on the dark web. Now, it seems, someone has cobbled together those breached databases and many more into a gargantuan, unprecedented collection of 2.2 billion unique usernames and associated passwords, and is freely distributing them on hacker forums and torrents, throwing out the private data of a significant fraction of humanity like last year's phone book.

Thanks, C!

One of my address came up clean! Tomorrow I'll submit another, and the day after that, and so on!

My identity was stolen but now I have it protected through life-lock and hours of changing passwords and new credit cards!

What a fucking bitch!

I've noted a massive increase in compromised Microsoft cloud services accounts of late while handling incidents for clients.  Per the norm for Microsoft, they've ignored my abuse complaints.  Microsoft somehow manages to suck more with each passing hour.

There is a massive phishing campaign running this week.

One of mine is in there, but I knew of the breech and changed password many moons ago.

I've uploaded nothing to the cloud, My Microsoft account has a problem, that's what win-10 tells me every day, all because I wasn't willing to divulge sensitive information that was requested during the prompted creation of a Microsoft account. I did not want to be a member of that psychotic abusive family!

Everything is backed up on remote hard drives! (Tower's cloud)

I refused the latest update over 10 times and won't dare turn this machine off, they can fuck me after a power outage! I really should replace my battery backup that went bad a few years ago! Then they couldn't fuck me with their magical mysterious update designed to abuse me 500 ways to Sunday!

Linyx is my next step, then it's adios Microsoft, ustedes bandidos!

It’s Trinity.

It's mostly old data, but some of those accounts still have not had their passwords changed.

It is best going in that your information is already at risk, and never give more information than necessary. We have a professional security service here, and I do my best to keep things secure on my end. Even with all of that, the right level of skill can crack anything.

And that alone is why I keep getting a pop-up message on win-10 that informs me "Your Microsoft account has a problem".

No sir! I'm not the one with the "problem", Microsoft has the problem and they need to fix it, not me!
