Any bag holders?
I'm a huge believer in crypto and blockchain technology. The market has me swaying but the signs right now are saying that we'll be heading on an uphill fairly soon, despite the volatility that remains. High hopes for Ethereum.

The stock market is just gambling to me.  I like making money the old fashioned way, by breaking my balls or prostituting women.

I don't do the crypto thing. I have my money invested in good meals, a reliable house, solid house, and emergency rations just in case. Had a power outage that lasted 10 days last year, so it is good to be prepared.

Big Crypto fan here. Mostly Alts but also BTC.

I went all In March this year. seen a steady rise since then, currently 53% up.

Do I think it'll dip again? Sure it will the market is heavily manipulated. However, as a Hodler, I don't really care. Dips just enable me to buy more at lower prices. I have belief that ultimately BTC will become established as the new currency norm. What you're paying now for a BTC will eventually be what you'll be paying for a Satoshi, well maybe not to that extreme but you get my point.

My only concern is the utility and security of Hardware Wallets. Recently had issues with the Trezor 1. My holdings are still on the exchanges and I don't feel secure with such a large investment (speculation?) being in the exchanges hands.

Got some smart Crypto guys on here and I've learned from them.

Agree on ETH. It looks like being the platform of choice for the Finance Industry, (not that they'll make that public knowledge, but we got guys on the inside who can tell you what's going on - get on Zoom they won't post it here but'll tell you face to face).

So yeah, enjoy the lift, maybe trade to realize some profit, but get ready for the next dip. I think the next dip will be the last before it goes ballistic again.

When Moon? 🙂

Honda and Simple Math are indeed some members with lots of relevant and current information regarding this topic.  While I enjoy listening to then, I, like others, like my investments a little safer.  08'-09' was enough of a crash for me ... Once bitten as they say!  Good luck

Lucky you! Unfortunately I went all in at the peak in 2017 (laugh cue), however I kept being persistent after the January crash. 2019 is definitely the best time to start accumulating though, as you hinted. Market's recovered from an awful 2018 and the institutions are starting to prepare and pile up as more weak hands are being slaughtered with the dips. Hodlers like you and I will ultimately make it through alive. I tried going the hardware wallet route as well but the firmware updates and mainnet transfer steps steered me away, would rather just set and forget on a secure exchange. I don't think it's that bad of an option, just the few small exchanges with terrible security that give them a bad name. There are still risks but there are good ones that have extra layers of security that make it as good as cold wallets. All of us crypto guys definitely need to hang out and get involved more. I too, started at the peak in 2017 so I "lost" as well, but at that time I didn't buy heavily, just some Alts recommended by SimpleMath. They shot up in value by 5x in a few months then BAM!

I put in around $1500 at that time and watched as it went up to around $5500. I was giddy with excitement at what seemed like a sweet financial future and lost all perspective.

MarketWatcher tried to bring me back down to Earth on Zoom telling me to sell at least the value of my initial investment and the "Play with the House's Money". At the time I was putting together a secure PC to make my trades on. Clean, no Spyware, only used on Crypto sites etc. Took me about 2 weeks to get it all up and running. In that time the market crashed and I lost my chance to cash out.

Next time he gives me advice I'll comply straight away! Not only was he accurate with What was gonna' happen He even got the timing right to The Fucking DAY!

I like this guy's channel in his Crypto Joy and Misery Memes:

I also like this guy's channel for his daily Crypto news and Memes:

Ultimately the Market is so rigged you can't really trust any advice as so few people can actually predict whats coming next. You just gotta go with your Gut.

So, yeah, I lost in 2018, ceased trading entirely till March 2019 and then went all In. However, when I say "Lost" I lost the current value. The coins are still on the market and can rise again. It's not like a Horse race Bet where if you don't win you rip up your ticket. The race is only over when you decide it's over.

I'd say that my Crypto adventures are one of the few things in modern life that gives me real enjoyment and interest. It enables me to dream of a better life and that keeps me going in "ClownWorld".

If you're on Zoom at the weekends then I'd enjoy discussing this subject in more detail.

One thing about Crypto is that it's a Guy Thing. If we do win the Future then we won't be sharing it with any Gold Digging Thots.

Happy days!

Spot on Honda.  Never invest what you cannot afford to lose!

Those who do not observe this basic fiscal tenet are constantly attempting to gain more and more resources to cover their loses.  That this basic concept of self control is completely lost to them only ensures that they will continue an ever increasing spiral into financial difficulties.

I am heavily invested in this! Pleeeeeasseee Keep Growing! I have lost some but gained more and keep my own miner running 24/7. I keep it secure and it has a private network connection. I feel like it will go down a little more but not much and after that it I feel it start to trend up. I feel that Greg Honda is right and cryptocurrencies are the future of transactions. Especially when traveling internationally.
