There are a couple versions available on their website, depending which version and device you have.

Opera has a built in ad blocker and is fairly simple to use.

If you do not have a Google user account (and can't upload apps thru GooglePlay) you can also download directly!

I already use a handful of spinoff browsers for my upload and research activities.

So I can keep my login cookies and not give Google too much to feed on.

- Brave (privacy and adblock focused)

- Waterfox (FireFox with extended privacy)

- Basilisk ("Old" but still maintained FireFox kernel, can run older plugins that no longer run on Quantum)

- Iridium Browser (Hardly stores anything, deaf dumb and blind)

Opera will be the next install...

One separate browser for every separate activity and they have a hard time to track what you are doing. You can be logged into like 5 different accounts on a certain platform and they can't tell except from the IP being the same...

That's what I have a 6 PC VPN license for... And 6+ PCs if needed.

This multi log-in is a very nice work relief when caring for and updating my countless and clustered MGTOW video mirror nests.

TOR browser - due it's Onion Network structure - often causes problems with secure sites that give out abuse alerts and block your account when your IP is not plausible. Like PayPal, eBay and Amazon...

I use the FireFox for this.

And for TIM.

But for the dark web, ALWAYS use TOR with an activated VPN. Never TOR all by itself. They do track the last knot and can Identify you.

A VPN adds one big laver of security. And use a VPN that is hosted outside of Western jurisdictions and makes no logs. Shitty VPNs give your data to the authorities.

My strategy is to use the VPN only when I need it. I am pretty sure that constant VPN users are on the radar of the authorities and are being watched closely.

Make 98 percent of your daily bullshit traffic on the clear web using your actual IP... But when looking at certain things that you don't want others to be clued in to... Then go to the VPN.

Cases for VPN use are as simple as looking at local news without risking the cops to give you a visit. Often the cop investigators set up a honey pot server to look at the IPs of the visitors who SEARCH FOR and read the latest "stinkbomb attack on the local community office" article... And draw (false) conclusions from that. Especially if they know who you are and happen to have a history of lawsuits, quarrels and other annoyances with that targeted organization or person...

A while ago, somewhere in Germany, innocent people got arrested because their cellphone was logged in at the same time a crime was committed in the vicinity of the cell tower... (Made the news here) - I no longer trust anything. Back then, these two guys were lucky that the real perpetrators were caught by accident and confessed...

I look at local news via VPN.

Most of Chrome's capabilities and CPU taxation goes into tracking us.

That's why now, a simple text forum can be slower than the 2003 eBay was on Netscape Browser. In spite of dozens of pics to be downloaded.

Killing this resource stealer one from your battery operated device will do wonders for your accumulator run time. Faster means less current drawn. More battery life.

Less risk of the phone overheating...

6 months ago I discovered that Chrome would take me to the INFOWARS site but no content could be accessed---Opera on the other hand ALLOWS me to go there AND view content. Enough said.

LOL, I am spending the night updating all of my special task desktops and Chrome spyware gets replaced on all of them.

Well I always had and have FireFox as the main browser but was forced to install Chrome because in 2018, the Archive would not take data if it came from FireFox and would hang if you used IE.

I now put Opera, Basilisk, Brave, Iridium and Waterfox (only 64-bit) on them. Archive NOW works with all of them.

And the VPN multilicense...

I am currently using the standard version, but Opera has a mini version and one that simplifies sharing between multiple devices.

All versions do a good job blocking pop ups and advertisements.  The built in Gurgle search sucks, but I add a bookmark to DuckDuckGo as a work around.
