 That's very good man!

Pardon my ignorance, but are the green bullet holes also made by your pistol? And why are they in a different colour from the white ones?

Also I don't know why the green holes are a different color, the green holes were made by my pistol though. I know because when I did the first few shots, they hit the head area.

Well I guess if there is no other choice a Glock will have to do. Yes I'm a gun snob and I don't like Glock. Couldn't you find a nice 1930-ish Luger?

We are starting me out with something basic and Glocks are as basic as you can get.

Congrats man! Didja have fun?

Also, afterwards did you attend to your hardware?

Sorry I am kind of snob also. If you can swing-it pick yourself up a nice Springfield 1911 even a used well cared for one is an awesome budget friendly weapon.

It was a ton of fun, It takes getting used to the loud firing of the gun, but once I started get used to it, I was able to focus better.

I might try a Springfield 1911 next time I am at the shooting arena.

This is a really great time to learn how to shoot, as well as to stock up on guns and ammo, if you can find it. Now that the globalists have successfully installed their puppet leader, it's only a matter of time until they start going after our guns again. Also, the only hope we will have of avoiding a dystopian communist society where we are stripped of our little remaining freedom and wealth is if we have enough people with guns to fight back. The more armed citizens we have, the better.

On a more positive note, I'm glad you and your dad had a good time shooting together. Our societies would be much better if more fathers did stuff like this with their sons...it's a great father-son activity and also a skill that every man should have.

I agree especially since it is a skill that men should have as their role is to be protectors. Just because society has turned against gender roles does not mean that men should give up their biological instincts. And with all the rioting and violence going on in the country, it's better to learn how to shoot a gun because it might save your life.

Solid first time experience. These skills cannot be learned in a video game or through a book. The experience cannot be replicated by those means either. Rock on.

What's funny is that my mom thought I learned how to shoot from the video games I play. I told her that video games develop hand eye coordination.

I've only ever clay pigeon shot. Once one has handled any firearm, the movies really do look ridiculous. It would be awesome to have the same access to firearms in the uk as in the usa. To be able to drop into a conversation that I am "off to the firing range" as though it was a normal day out would be quite something. Moreover, to be able to have access to resources to blow my own brains out would be very comforting to a manic ironic depressive like me. A real "game changer".

The old adage of "having one and not needing it is; better than needing it, and not having it"; would be a real comfort to me.

We don't have guns in the UK for a very, very, very good reason ID.

Look what we do in every Town Centre on a Friday and Saturday night ...and that's just with our fists!!!!

True but...

Friday and Saturday night brawls are now a distant memory an have been curtailed by the "Coronvirus Acts". Nothing is open. One fell swoop - sorted.

My reason for ownership is still for defense. 😉

Nice shooting, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Looks like another person was lost to the semi-auto pistols.

Nothing wrong with Semi-auto, it's easy to fire and hold.

I usually also watch hikock45 videos for tips.
