Check T.E.G.

Given the wind conditions, inability for spotters to provide accurate information and that he was only bracing against the mount, this was an awesome accomplishment.

While the video mentions a $99.00 SR-K31 being available in the past, you cannot find a bayonet of $99.00 as you know.

I have never regretted my K-31 purchase after T.E.G. mentioned this weapon system to me.  It requires the user to have and use basic rifle training,  but fun and accurate once you get used to it.

"Swiss K31 shooter Ernie Jimenez recently set the Guinness World Record for longest open-sight shot at the North Springs Shooting Range in Price, Utah. His record setting shot took place on May 25, 2015.

Wet soil conditions made the record shot difficult to zero in because Jimenez and his spotters had a challenging time spotting his shots. However, with some perseverance, Jimenez and his Swiss K31 finally came through. Did I mention that he only paid $99 for the Swiss K31 rifle used in the video?"

@old-buck

My last order was from Graf&son - $16.99 per box.  That's why I purchased a die set and left it with Pete.  He has already reloaded 40 rounds for the collective SR community.  😀

Good luck

One interesting fact ab0ut Swiss Military weapons is that each weapon was manufactured with the intent of being issued to a Swiss citizen.

Many Schmidt-Rubin rifles available for sale still have the "issue card" placed under the butt stock of the weapon.

Just imagine how cool this would be for weapons kept within the family!

The Truth About Guns website has an article regarding the K31 Swiss rifle that is worth reading for anyone interested.
