As Bailout Money fades, So Does the Jobs of GM.

The ridiculous plan by our previous presidents and their brainstorming group failed to consider long term, and it is showing now more than ever. Companies that did not deserve a bailout and squandered the money are now approaching the same demise as before being given enormous amounts of the people's tax dollars.

"The new round of cuts means GM has eliminated more than 14,000 jobs in the U.S. and Canada since November."

GM did not improve their product, work on planning better, focus on the customer or anything that might have saved the company. Instead, the company carried on business as usual, as millions of tax dollars were pumped into the business to keep it from collapsing. The supposed jobs created have all gone and now more jobs are on the way out as the company has failed to take the opportunity at our expense.

If you ask me, it is time to say goodbye to failed business and start looking to new and intelligent plans and focus on the future. GM has had their chance and they are on borrowed time on our dime.

As an additional note: "GM isn’t the only automaker trimming back. Ford has also begun eliminating passenger car models. It announced plans for an $11 billion restructuring last October and is expected to axe as many as 25,000 jobs, though a majority of those cuts are seen targeting Europe and other financially struggling markets."

This is an attempt to make GM look less awful, but what they fail to say is that the reason the Ford and many other companies are closing foreign areas is due to immigration destroying the market, and this is a smart move before they lose much more than just a factory.

The United States government with it's 20 trillion in debt and 40 trillion in unfunded liabilities are headed for extinction. Everything has consequences and these are the consequences.

China now owns all the intellectual property of General Motors at the same time they show no respect or regard for intellectual property.

We've been sold out and those that did the brokering should be hung by their necks for treason, starting with the Clinton Crime Syndicate.

What others call civil war I call justice finds a way.

America is well underway to becoming a third word shithole.

WE?

I was irate that they bailed out GM "the unions".  Unions are nothing more than governizing the work pool with tantalizing offers that kill the host company.

Public sector unions are the worst offenders and by natural law shall also kill the host!

It makes pheasants out of everyone else that become slaves to the union via tax codes, just like North Korea! No difference where the rubber meets the road! Pheasants slaving for the benefit and luxuries enjoyed by government!

This policy will eventually lead to violent revolt or killing fields for the pheasants.

Sadly, it is 'we'. The US citizens were forced to pay and play part due to misuse of government funds to the interest of wealthy politicians and their rich buddies interest. The company was not too big to fail. The company was too invested in by government and wealthy people to take the loss. The loss was transferred from the wealthy to the regular citizen of the United States in what is essentially a scam against the people.
