Frank here !

As opposed to being dead I was merely recovering from injuries in a car crash and then having to deal with the legal issues from that before the crazy year 2020 showed me new lessons in how crazy a year can be.

Back, with run on sentences !

Good to see all the brothers again.

Glad to hear you are healing, and looking forward to expanding my understanding of craziness!

The doctors told me that it is unlikely I will ever be able to run very far again. Since I do not jog, this is not a loss.

I'm perfectly mobile, if with a slight limp. Considering how bad my car got totaled and the speed I really have no right to complain.

Plus the settlement helps. I got my first payments in March so that is making this a lot easier to handle.

Great to hear you are okay. Keep recovering, and know that jogging is overrated. You can be quite fit without having to move your legs quickly.

That is what my doctor said too, I just walk around a lot now.

And I do take advantage of social distancing. "Sorry lady, got to keep six feet away from you !"

From what I understand. Chronic long distance running. Is very bad on one's joints.

Most endurance runners' bodies are a wreck in old age. Those guys also run long distances for many years past their prime of youth. Like 45+ years of age.

A brisk walking pace, or riding a bicycle on reletively flat ground. Is very good for your overall health and endurance. You can also do both at an advanced age.

My personal opinion for what it's worth. The best exercise is a practical active lifestyle. Sometimes, you can carry your groceries home. Maybe bike to work 2 out of 5 days. Stuff like that.

If you can afford it. Get out of the office cubicle jobs. Those are the worst when you're in your older years. You mostly just sit, push some papers around, then yack on the phone about whatever other office business needs taking care of.

Take care brother.

This is the exact same thing that happens with chronic masturbation.  There were two after school specials dedicated to this phenomenon that aired during the '80s.   Unfortunately the PC crowd has prevented those much needed specials from ever being aired again for whatever reason.
