In light of the hysteria surrounding this storm that is obviously all Trump's fault(/sarc), it is imperative that the entire US Atlantic coast evacuate NOW.

Run, coward sheeple, run for your lives!!!!!!!!

Nothing like some good old fashion fear tactics to make people act irrational.

Oh GOOD! Power lines down! No electricity!

Time to drop some trees that overhang the 13,000kv power lines here in the electric forest, before they're back up and energized again!

Road Niggas got to do what a road nigga's got ta do!

We an't got no boss-man round these here parts!

 Youzz on yo own!

P.S.  This is just like the tornado that followed my cousin home and destroyed both her and my uncle's homes,  after wiping out my other cousins business a couple towns over!

This one's a whole lot bigger and wiping out my parents home, my uncle's home then heading north to fuck with the rest of us!

I gotta prepare to loose power at the fucking least!

Na man,  that was a Russian trogen horse virus installed at the gas pumping station through an unknowing passer bye's smart phone blue tooth technology chip, it was just a test of their Dooms Day machine, much more anarchy to come in case of an emergency.

I just experienced an 18 knot wind gust.  A pine cone even hit my roof.  I need my safe space.

Grab a beer and go mow the lawn.

Best part is you can charge your neighbor for mulching HIS yard!

18 knots is a moderate breeze and makes for a fun day on the sea.  I can closely estimate wind speed from looking at things moving and am calibrated in knots.

Come on over, stand anywhere under the power lines during one of our all-to-common tree strikes! If the juice doesn't kill you being pressed against the ground or cut in two by the cable stays will! I shit you not! Just another one of the hazards here in electric forest!

Check.  Thanks to the non-stop hysteria created by this event, local perishable good and consumable supplies became unavailable on Tuesday.  The storm was forcast to hit on Saturday.

I just researched the watershed upstream of Myrtle Beach where I have family, and to me it doesn't look good for that area, two major rivers, the Waccamaw and the Great Pee Dee come together along with the inter coastal waterway. They both cross the heavy rain path from the west wall of the hurricane, both watersheds drain most of coastal South Caroline and parts of North Carolina, and all that flood water is headed their way, and whenever the combined river swells (and whatever the timing) the entire area may be flooded and under water in a couple days. We'll see, but for now I haven't heard a word from anybody, so that tells me they're without power widespread, no communications, no refrigeration, no water, no sewer, no transportation, just water in lake Carolina!

My prayers go out to all that are suffering from this natural disaster. God help those likely under water with more coming in a couple days, I wonder if they'll have maritime debris alerts like they did in Irene, and that was only 9" of rain in 24 hrs!

I'm never moving south to play dodge ball with hurricanes! FUCK THAT!

Yes Tower, the misery of weeks of no power is trying.  Ice becomes a valuable commodity too.

I've been in this position twice in my life and do not recommend that anyone want to actually experience it.

All of my satire being set aside, one must judge for himself the risks taking all factors into account.  This cascading mass panic evacuation puts those who truly need to evacuate in more peril.   These lemmings try to shame anyone who does not evacuate.  My decision to not evacuate Matthew put my life in jeopardy, but it was the right thing for me to do in my situation.

I hope you hear from your family today.  I was cut off for several days myself as others had issues and remember the angst.

Thanks bro, I just got word and their house was spared and everyone's okay, but that's Myrtle beach, they say North Carolina got hit hard, but I'm sure they haven't seen the rivers crest yet and that may cause some additional flooding. I'm just glad everyone's okay! They're too old to go swimming in a hurricane!
