Just checking in letting you guys know I am not frozen to the side of a storage facility.

Instead I'm sitting in my work truck outside one working in shifts in the -5f air temps. Let's not discuss the wind chill.

Anyways 10 inches of snow forecasted for tomorrow. Gotta love it. The old blazer is frozen. Battery is shot. Will fix it Saturday morning if it's warm enough. Otherwise it's all good in the frozen good up here in mn. Great posts everyone I read day. Stay warm brothers

Cold air is nice, turbocharging is better, but I would much rather be blown

Stay safe and thanks for the update.  As discussed before Zerenity, my time at Ft McCoy and Camp Ripley continue to remind me of what cold really means, as well as the endless assault of mosquito squadrons!  Hang in there an stay off the ice roadways. 😎

You post shows one of the basic skills a man must have to survive; basic technical competence and abilities to maintain transportation.

Rock on, Zerenity. This has been an odd winter for many of us in the southern United States, but the other side of the world seems to be having a very harsh winter. Build a TIM snowman for us.

@Uly

I will do that if the snow is the right consistency

@GregBo

I enjoy working on vehicles. Inspires me to learn more. Plus the mechanical experience can help with other aspects of survival.

Good picture there. My first ex would walk on ice in those 👠 heeled shoes during the middle of winter. She was pretty good at it too I only had to help her up once.

Hey Z, how's the T.I.M. resident icicle today?  Almost mild weather in my neck of the woods, though I am still waiting for the warm weather of May to come rolling in.  Be safe.

Hey Greg,

Sitting at 20 degrees minimal wind today. Overcast and cloudy with a warmup expected tomorrow along with freezing rain.

Otherwise life is good. The blazer has a new battery. Heated seats are installed in the work truck. Welder generator is installed as well. Star trek Picard is looking awesome so far. All in all it's going good. How about you?

@lelouchvibritianna

All is good on my end as well.  Work has stabilized at 8 hours a day and warm weather is coming down the pipe.  Glad that the Blazer is back on line and seat warmers, very nice touch!  Stay warm and be safe.

Will look forward to reading more about Picard if you care to post updates.   CBS eh, who would have know.  I like that the name of his dog is "number one".

Old cast members, new cast members but it looks like there are more female main story characters than men.  Hope that the story stays centered around Picard.

It gets in the 40s here at night by the ocean.  50s and 60s during the day, but it feels chilly when the wind blows off the Monterey Bay.

It got below freezing today. I hate cold why I stay south. I hope that winter is over soon.

From what I hear in the weather news, winter is at its tail end. It would appear that you will soon be seeing warmer days and less icicles soon.
