Good news on the job front.
One trick when asked if I have experience in an area (where I don't) I tell the prospective employer that I may not have that experience, but I don't have any perceptions of how it's supposed to be done, so I will do that task they way they show me, not any way that I had done it somewhere else.
It has worked for the last couple employers for me. Good luck!
